It's a.........

...pitcher!

I'm still not sure how I'm going to pack it (in my CARRY ON - EEK!!!), but I love the super bright cheery colours!

And here's some of what we saw yesterday:

We hopped the Trolley to Old Town, San Diego

And saw some old Victorian Era houses while were there.

We stopped by the jail just before heading out.

And then we went back to the hotel to rest our tired feet for a while before finishing off the day with:

And it was SOOOOOOOOOO good!!!

It was our first time at the Cheesecake Factory (BAZINGA!) but it won't be our last!

Shelli's Home!! (and other stuff)

If you're a Stampin' UP! demo, you probably know that Shelli was in a pretty serious accident not that long ago. If you haven't been following along, you can read all about it here.

It was so wonderful to see Sara on the bus in San Diego and have her mention that her mom was home - YAY!!!

And speaking of San Diego:

Lindsay and I left at a somewhat more reasonable hour than we did when we travelled to Utah in July:

When we arrived at the hotel, our room wasn't quite ready, so we left our bags with the bell hop and went to explore a little bit (actually it was more like eat lunch, since by this time it was 4:30 p.m. Toronto time and we'd been on the go for 11 hours!).

We went to the outdoor mall (it has FIVE levels!) and did a bit of shopping. While hanging out in the Coach store, my phone rang and the hotel called to let us know our room was ready.

When we arrived in our room we found:

We hung out in the room for a little bit and then decided to do some more exploring. We're staying in the Gaslamp Quarter, so we walked a few blocks up and a few blocks over and ended up at TGI Fridays for dinner - HAPPY HOUR!!!

After dinner we walked a little more and then shopped a little more and headed back to the hotel to find:

PILLOW GIFT!!!!

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you what it was!

It's the MOST wonderful time...of the year!

I posted this as my Facebook status on Tuesday and a friend couldn't believe that I was thinking Christmas carols so soon after labour day!!

I don't know about you, but around here (southern Ontario), the kids don't go back to school until AFTER labour day - making it the most wonderful time of the year (for me) as I as get my house back, can set my own schedule (all my kids are in school full time) and have a quiet house. Shhhhhhhh...

All that being said, Christmas is my most FAVOURITE holiday and I just loved doing a Christmas in July class this year! Since I quick expedited my order, I was even able to introduce brand new stuff to my students!

Did you miss it? Were you away at the cottage enjoying the lake? Did you wish you could be there but just couldn't find a way to squeeze it in to your busy summer schedule?

Well, then I have good news for you! The entire class (with step by step instructions) is now available as a tutorial for just $2.95!

Pop on over to my Tutorials page and check it out!

And did you know? If you come to class, there's no need for taking notes! After class is over, I send a copy of the tutorial to each of my class participants - cool, eh? It's a great added value!

Happy Stampin'!
