I know you miss me...

...but I also know that many of you have felt the "burn out" of too many things on the go at the same time.

For me, this year, I've burnt out on stamping. PLEASE don't panic! I am NOT giving up on stamping and I love my "job" as your Stampin' UP! demonstrator too much to stop doing that! But I can't tell you how relaxing it's been to not HAVE to stamp for the past couple of weeks! I've taken up knitting again (haven't done that in 10 years!) and I'm learning to knit socks. I love it!

I promise that things will be back to "normal" (read: insane) soon, so please be patient.

Meanwhile, one of my downline found a post from WAY back in 2008 and suggested I repost it, so here you go:

From Dec. 16th, 2008:

I did find this while I was taking a few seconds from my busy day to do a little blog visiting and thought you might like it:

Twas the Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, I'm glued to the tree.
I'm wondering what Santa brought just for me.
Could it be cardstock or chipboard or lace?
"Or a Cricut," I said, with a smile on my face.
And that's when I heard him, "Hi Santa!" I said.
"You know....good little girls should be in their beds."
"I know I should Santa, and now I've been caught.
But I was just so excited to see what you brought."
"Well, let's take a look in this room where you work."
He shook his head quickly, and left with a jerk.
I heard him exclaim as he put it in gear...
"You've got enough crap, I'll see you next year!"

I found it on Sharon Harnist's blog.

Merry Christmas and Happy Stampin'!

  1. Made me laugh, so I shared it with my husband (who agreed whole heartedly), my mom (a stamper), my dad (a big stamping supporter), and a few fellow stampers - all laughing in agreement, and the stampers taking copies to forward on the Christmas cheer!

Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful holiday season!

  2. Miss you but I'm glad you're enjoying your time! Knitting is very therapeutic until it takes over like everything else! :)
