A Penny-Farthing bicycle that is! :)
If you liked yesterday's card, today's will make you a happy camper too!
Check it out:
It's not a spectacular photo because I finished it after "decent photo light" time and had to make do. :(
I started off with a River Rock base (since I had it out) and some Soft Suede Cardstock and DSP. The image was stamped in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla Cardstock and I sponged around the edges of both the bicycle and the sentiment.
The finishing touch is the Natural Trim Ribbon available in the Occasions Catalogue.

Today is the first day of Sale-A-Bration and you're going to LOVE IT!!! There are a whole BUNCH of free goodies from which to choose in the Sale-A-Bration brochure as well as six choices from the BIG Catalogue if none of the SAB sets tickle your fancy.
Here's a card I created using the "Feeling Sentimental" set which you can get TODAY with your $60 order!
I just love the "old world" feel of this set! I knew I had to get it just as soon as I saw the call box pictured above, but I also really like the penny-farthing bicycle and the old ferris wheel too. I'm sure this set will be on *your* list of must haves from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!
I started off stamping the call box and sentiment in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla Cardstock. They were then added to a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock. The ribbon scraps were the finishing touch to the image panel and I popped it all up using Stampin' Dimensionals!

I'm trying to get back in to the swing of things, but I do hope you'll forgive me if I'm not 100% consistent yet.
I picked up a NASTY bug while I was at Leadership (and I have yet to shake it) and yesterday, I was rear-ended not more than 2 minutes from home. They say bad things happen in threes... *sigh* I don't dare ask what's next!
Anyway...you can check out what the rest of the Divas have been up to here and then check out what I did:
The picture doesn't do it justice as it's WAY prettier IRL!
I started off with a base of Marina Mist and used the NEW Simply Scored Borders Insert to add the scored lines to the edge of the card. I used my snips to cut along the last score line to give the card a funky edge. I cut the Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper to sit inside the card and then lined up the other piece on the front.
I stamped the Oh, Hello and cut it out. I kind of like that it's not a perfect arrow. Don't you?

Wouldn't you like to be a pumpkin too?? Well, guess what?? You CAN!!!
Just click the image above and check it out! Don't sign up yet though! I'm not 100% certain as to how the sign up process will work and I certainly don't want you to miss out on anything awesome!
Today will be another full day of Leadership fun which I'll tell you all about later on (or maybe tomorrow - we'll see how tired I am at the end of the day! LOL!)
Hope you have a WONDERFUL day!!

I am, admittedly, not a huge Harry Potter fan. I enjoyed the movies, haven't read the books and probably couldn't answer a pop quiz on Harry Potter to save my life!
But last night, I had FUN! We had Wizard World to ourselves! This meant no lines, all the butterbeer, pumpkin juice and food we wanted and lots of other fun demonstrators with whom we could chat!
I rode the Dragon Chaser (twice in a row) and the Forbidden Journey (inside the castle). That ride was WAY more than I could handle and so...TOTALLY done for the night.
Today, we are off to our first "official" day of Leadership!! I just know we're going to have a GREAT time! I have coffee in hand to stay awake, so it's going to be OK.
If you're keeping track...I didn't cry at Wizard World.
For the record, Butterbear is NOT beer. It's this divine concoction of cream soda (sort of) and butterscotch foam. I found myself wishing I could have a cup of foam - it was SO tasty!
Have a GREAT day!

As many of you know, I am in Orlando for Stampin' UP!'s annual Leadership Convention. I couldn't be more excited to be spending time with a whole LOT of my Stampin' UP! friends.
Yesterday, however, was all about the mouse!! I wanted to take Cristena and Kellie to one of *my* favourite places in the whole world! So...off to Disney we went!
I made them get up SUPER early and we were on a bus by 7:25 a.m. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom a full hour before it opened and so they got to experience Park Opening which is one of the most magical things you'll ever get to see. :)
We went into the park and hit Fantasyland! We went on the Carousel, the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (there were kind enough *not* to make me throw up by spinning too fast - thanks girlies!) and Winnie the Pooh. The girls also really enjoyed Mickey's Philharmagic.
We spent the day exploring ALL of the lands and watching the parade as well as the stage show - to which I sang along, making Cristena remark that I come to Walt Disney World *much* too often. :)
And I cried - A LOT! But oh...they were happy tears and I had a WONDERFUL day and would do it all again in a heartbeat!!!
Today, is check in day for Leadership and the Manager's Reception at Harry Potter's Wizarding World in Universal Studios (they've reserved the *whole* Wizard World just for Managers!). While I'm not a *huge* Harry Potter fan, I can't to experience my first Manager's Reception!
I'll be sure to come back and tell you all about it!
From me and Mickey,
Have a MAGICAL day!!

Welcome to 2013! What will YOU do that 's awesome this year?? Just be your awesome self! :)
To start the New Year off, I thought I'd show you something old AND something new! Wait...isn't that a wedding? Oh well...let's make it a new year thing too!
Check it out:
Today is the second to last day for you to purchase this stamp. It's called New Years and it's one of the single stamps Stampin' UP! offered in the latter part of 2012. We haven't received word yet as to whether or not this single stamp program will continue into 2013. That being the case, best to shop now and get it while the getting's good! You can see all the single stamps here. The single image stamp is "old".
The idea for this card came from the lovely and talented Heather Summers. While I didn't CASE her entire card, I did follow her lead in regards to the image panel.
I stamped the image 5 times using Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry, Primrose Petals and Not Quite Navy. The #2 was left as is and the other numbers were all cut out and either adhered just to the layer or adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals. Also like Heather, I added some rhinestones for a little extra bling. :)
I cut my image panel into a tag shape and matted it onto a piece of Midnight Muse Cardstock. I cut two lengths of Summer Starfruit and attached them using a staple which I covered using the most adorable (and available soon!) tiny little bottle cap!! I added a teeny snowflake image to the inside of the bottle cap from the (also soon to be available) Itty Bitties Stamp Set. The Itty Bitties Set and the Bottle cap are "new".
Are you coming to my Open House on Saturday, January 5th? If so, you'll have the opportunity to WIN this card as well as all my OTHER sample cards on that day!
