If there's anything that can pick me up, it's a cup of coffee! How about you?
This week, we had a fun sketch with a cluster of images. Check it out:
And here's my card:
My base is Early Espresso and I added a layer of Coffee Break Designer Series Paper in the wood texture. Then I stacked up a few of the coffee pot images I cut out from another piece of Coffee Break DSP.
The sentiment I chose is from the Bella and Friends Stamp Set. The whole set is just so cute, but since this month has been all about coffee, I just used the sentiment.
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the crew have been up to HERE.

Very Vintage
This week at the Paper Craft Crew our theme was:
And for me...nothing says "vintage" like a stovetop coffee pot! I'm pretty sure my Grampy had one on his old wood stove and I *know* we used one when I was little on our camp stove. :) Maybe that's where my whole love of enamelware started?
I started off with a base of Soft Sky and then went to town with the sponging and the scraping! Scissors and sponges and staining, oh my!! The Designer Series Paper from the Coffee Break with the coffee cup stains is just perfect for the vintage look, don't you think? The coffee pot and cup were cut from another piece of Coffee Break DSP.
The sentiment is from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the crew is up to HERE.

Side by Side
We have another fun sketch this week over at the Paper Craft Crew:
And here's how I interpreted the sketch:
I started off with a base of Soft Sky and added a layer of Early Espresso under the layer of Coffee Break DSP. I cut out both the circle and the scalloped circle using the Layering Circles Framelits and my Big Shot. The images on the circle were cut from the same sheet of Designer Series Paper that I used in this post. You all know how much I love fussy cutting, right? :)
The sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet Set and I stamped it in Garden Green Ink. It was added to the image layer using glue dots. Rhinestones added the finishing touch!
I put some little cups on the inside.
I think I'll go out to coffee with my friend today!
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the crew have been up to HERE.

Christmas Cheer
I'm sure there's at least one coffee lover on your Christmas list this year? No? Well...I like coffee - LOL! You could add MY name to your list. :)
This week it's all about a game of Tic-Tac-Toe:
And...just like LAST TIME, I actually followed a line - LOL! The first column: Holiday Celebrations, Natural Elements, Favourite Stamp Set...at least it's my favourite stamp set this month - HA! It's actually TWO stamp sets - Coffee Café and Merry Café - but they go together, so that's ok, right?
I started off with a base of Soft Sky and added a layer of Coffee Break DSP. The little snippet that I cut off the larger piece of DSP was flipped over and adhered toward the bottom of the card front. I then wrapped Linen Thread (my very favourite natural element!) around the card.
I cut out the cup elements and stamped the image on the "sleeve" before attaching it all to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals...and then...some bling!
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the crew have been up to HERE.

Thanks a Latte!
This month, I'm all about the coffee!!! I mean...I'm pretty much ALWAYS all about the coffee, what with the Starbucks job and all that, but this month I'm all about the coffee on my blog!
Here's the sketch we used this week at the Paper Craft Crew:
And at my Starbucks job...you know what happens tomorrow? At the stroke of midnight...BAM! Christmas! And I can't wait! The store will be all decked out for the holiday season...new merchandise, new drinks...I can't stand it! I've been bouncing around for WEEKS since we started getting our "do not open till November 1st" boxes. SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
Anyway...here's my card:
I just LOVE sketches with all kinds of little "bits"! I can throw things around on the card front and really have some fun. :)
For this one, I started off with a base of Soft Suede and added a layer of Soft Sky under the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I then added some Soft Sky ⅜" Classic Weave Ribbon under my focal image. The little pieces on the focal image were hand cut from one of the sheets of paper in the Coffee Break DSP pack.
I stamped the oval image from Coffee Café and cut it out using the coordinating dies and my Big Shot.
And then I just threw rhinestones around like candy!
Take a look at the inside:
I love the little "to go" cups that I cut out of the Coffee Break DSP - they're just so cute!
Don't forget to the check out what the rest of the crew have been up to HERE.
