Friday - MY WAY with the Creative Crew!

Happy Friday peeps! Ready for the weekend??

Today's MY WAY is all about Halloween! I've had this project done since September 26th, but since the Crew stays "hush-hush" till the 1st of the month I had to keep it a secret!

The first card is UBER simple!

I simply stamped the image using Staz-ON and the sentiment using Always Artichoke (I had the Always Artichoke out for a Diva's Colour Challenge).

The second card is the stepped-up version!

I stamped the image and sentiment on a Halloween Kit tag this time and added a Basic Rhinestone and a googly eye!

I added two more layers of cardstock too! A layer of Lucky Limeade was attached to the base and a Whisper White layer (with doodles, of course!) was attached to that with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added the ribbon and attached the tag using Stampin' Dimensionals again.

What do you think?

STAMPS: Googly Ghouls, Teeny Tiny Wishes
INK: Staz-ON, Lucky Limeade
PAPERS: Whisper White, Lucky Limeade
ACCESSORIES: Halloween Tag, Basic Rhinestone, Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Stampin'!

A little Witch CASE

One of the cards in my blog feed the other day caught my eye and I decided to CASE the design. It wasn't an SU! card, but I used my SU! goodies to make my own version - YAY!

As you may have heard if you've been on Facebook, one of my favourite princesses in the WHOLE world is in the hospital. :(

I texted her mom and asked if she would like a cute witch card or if it might frighten her. Mom gave the go-ahead, so I made this:

I am LOVING the Googly Ghouls set. It's so darn cute! And those eyes? It's a good thing you can buy them separately because I think I'll need stock in them!

I pulled the colours from the tag and decided on Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeade. And, because Brigid loves purple, I had to add a strip of Elegant Eggplant, which was cut using the Tasteful Trim Die.

A little bit of baker's twine, two googly eyes, and...DONE! It's already in the mail on it's way to her.

What do you think?

Say Hello to my little friend!

When I saw a nearly identical card by the lovely and talented Jen Timko earlier this week, I just KNEW I would have to CASE it! I'm sure you'll agree:

I started off by stamping my little spider friend from Googly Ghouls in black Staz-ON onto one of the tags found in the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. You can get both the stamp set AND the kit at a 15% savings when you bundle them together in the Ghoulish Googlies bundle! I tied a length of Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine through the pre-punched hole and added the eyes - LOVE!

I chose Whisper White as my base and then added layers of Basic Black and Lucky Limeade. I then cut another piece of Basic Black and added stripes of both Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie Designer Series paper. I tried to print up some Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP from MDS, but my printer is acting up, so I had to go with old faithful - DSP paper packs!

My little friend was attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I'm teaching classes today and I can't WAIT to show this adorable card to my students.

I'm saving this card to send to one of my VERY FAVOURITE little people for Halloween. I think she'll LOVE IT!

Ready, set, HOP!!!

Oh my! Were those not GREAT projects that Julie created? I just LOVE the SUDSOL community! There are SO many talented stampers/scrapbookers!

As you already know, we're featuring products from the Holiday Catalogue (which is not anywhere near a "mini" anymore.

My first project is RIGHT out of the catalogue! So quick and easy to make, especially if you buy the bundle! The stamps and kit arrive all in one and with a little bit of Staz-ON ink, you can be creating in SECONDS. You'll even get the googly eyes!

Check this out:

(Stamps: Googly Ghouls; Accessories: Googly Ghouls Kit; Ink: Staz-ON)

The tags are pre-punched (even the hole at the top!) and all you have to do is pop it out and stamp. It's really THAT easy!

To attach it to the bag, I punched two 1/16" inch holes one on top of the other about a 1/8" apart through BOTH layers of the bag. I threaded them through and tied a bow after threading the tag on one end. DONE! And hey...did you SEE that? That's Pumpkin Pie bakers twine and it's EXCLUSIVE to this kit!

My next project is a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from the lovely and talented Shannon West. She did a stamping demonstration at the Hamilton Regional I recently attended!

(Stamps: Affection Collection; Ink: Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals, Lucky Limeade, Midnight Muse; Paper: Shimmery White)

My apologies for the quality of the photo. I had to take it quick-quick as it was the card I presented to my hubby on our 21st wedding anniversary (we celebrated on August 31st). I just love the collage look you can get with that stamp set (and PHEW! He didn't thing it was too girly!)

While I was in Hamilton, I had the privilege of swapping with a BUNCH of my SUDSOL sisters. That's one of the AMAZING things about being a part of the SUDSOL community! Whenever you go to a Stampin' UP! event, you are NEVER alone!

Now, you're on to visit Candy and you're going to LOVE what she has for you!
