Down to the wire for Freshly Made Sketches

It would seem that I like cutting things close - LOL!

Today is the last day in which to participate in this week's Freshly Made Sketches. I would have done it earlier, but my Caroline and I were busy at the Creativ Festival all weekend! Did we see YOU there? If so, leave a comment and say hi!

Here's today's card:

It's for a VERY special friend of mine who is once again in hospital. It just breaks my heart, especially since she JUST. GOT. OUT.

She was admitted a few minutes before her 6th birthday on Saturday night (her birthday was Sunday), so this is a little late. I know she'll love it because her mom says these are her favourite colours and she likes sparkle!

I started off with a Pretty in Pink base and added a piece of Pretty in Pink Designer Series Paper. Next was a piece of Whisper White (I'm no longer out - LOL!) and a piece of Wisteria Wonder on which I stamped "It's your day" from the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess Set. The sentiment was stamped using Wisteria Wonder on Whisper White and punched out using the wide oval punch. I adhered it using dimensionals and then added some sparkle with Silver Glimmer Paper and Basic Rhinestones.

What do you think?

STAMPS: Happiest Birthday Wishes
INK: Wisteria Wonder
PAPERS: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Wisteria Wonder Cardstock; Pretty in Pink DSP; Silver Glimmer Paper
ACCESSORIES: Punches, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Basic Rhinestones

Happy Stampin'!
