Procrastination is an art form...

If that's true, I must be an artistic genius - LOL! I guess it's not so much procrastination as not enough hours in the day. Of course, if I'm REALLY honest it's TOO many hours spent surfing stamping sites and not enough time creating. That's THE real culprit - LOL!

Anyway, today is the last day for Freshly Made Sketches - Week 4:

When I first saw the sketch, I had a BASIC idea of what I wanted to do. That all got tossed out the window when I went to help my downline Diana with her VERY well attended Stamp-a-Stack. She had 17 (!) people there and they all made 12 cards. Her organization was AMAZING. I think she just missed me...she didn't REALLY need the help!

It's all good though...we just ate and chatted - LOL!

Diana's Stamp-a-Stack featured Christmas cards and while the card below isn't one the ladies made, I decided to go with a Christmas theme. You'll probably see a LOT of that coming up as I have no less than FOUR Christmas card/project classes and THREE craft fairs in which I'll be participating between now and the second week of December. Can you say BUSY?

Here's my take on the sketch:

I started off with the tag since that was the focal image of the sketch (at least it was to me!) and took out my Pennant Parade Stamp Set. I just love how versatile this set is - so many options! The tree base is stamped in Soft Suede and the top is stamped in Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White and punched out using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. It was adhered to the tag using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To the tag I added a double layer of Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding tied with a length of  White Bakers Twine.

I then chose a green button from the Holly Berry Bouquet button collection which can be found in the Holiday Mini and attached a jewelry tag stamped with Merry to it using White Bakers Twine. It was adhered to the card using a glue dot.

What do you think?

PAPERS: Whisper White and Riding Hood Red Cardstock; Riding Hood Red and Pear Pizzazz DSP

Happy Stampin'!
