Birthday Bash Preview

Oops! Just like the card I posted last week, this one was also supposed to be for the Paper Crafts Crew...there never seems to be enough hours in the day to get it all done!!

I started off with a base of Bermuda Bay Cardstock and added a layer of Lullaby Designner Series Paper and a half layer of Coastal Cabana DSP from the 2013-2015 In Colour stack. A ribbon was tied around the layers.

The image and sentiment, both from Endless Wishes Birthday were stamped in Bermuda Bay Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. The image was matted with more Bermuda Bay and the sentiment was attached with a Stampin' Dimensional. The finishin touch is a bedazzled mini flower.

What do you think?

STAMPS: Endless Wishes Birthday
INK: Bermuda Bay
PAPERS: Bermuda Bay and Whisper White Cardstock; Lullaby and In Colour DSP
ACCESSORIES: Ribbon, Punch, Basic Rhinestone, Stampin' Dimensionals, Glue Dots

Happy Stampin'!

Happy Day!

Remember this card from September?

I had fun with that one and thought I'd try some collage again, but in a different way. Check it out:

The largest stamp from Postage Due is a collage all on its own! All you need to do is stamp it and you're done. Of course, I never make anything THAT easy! So, I stamped it once in Hello Honey Ink and then stamped it again (but just the bike this time) in Pool Party. Then I cut the bike out (in painstaking detail, because that's how I roll) and added it to the already stamped image using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the "postage" in Basic Grey and cut them out too. I wanted a nice thin edge, so I did this by hand rather than using punches. Those who have been to my blog in the past will know that I'm a crazy fussy cutter. I'm OK with that title. :)

The sentiment is from Endless Birthday Wishes.

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the divas have been up to here.

Stop me if you've heard this one before...

As you may have heard, every June,  I host Stampin' Extravaganza! It's an all-day stamping event where we create 10 cards, donate cards to Ronald McDonald House Charities and generally have an AWESOME time! The food is INSANE (my daughter bakes!) and the company is AMAZING! This past June was my third annual event. Next year is #4 - you should come!

Anyway...each year I choose a stamp set for the event. I can assure you, this is no easy task! It has to have variety, be with a certain price range, be versatile, etc.

This year, I chose Honeycomb Hello. It's SO cute and tiny! How cute and tiny is it? SO cute and tiny that the WOOD mount set fits in a ½ size wood mount case. That FIFTEEN images in a ½ size case. That's SERIOUSLY cute and tiny! The best part? Everyone who came to Stampin' Extravaganza as a customer got to KEEP the stamp set!

Banner Birthday!

Do you ever see a sketch and just KNOW the perfect stamp set and EXACTLY what you're going to do? And then, does it turn out just the way it looked in your head?

That's what happened with today's card and I couldn't be happier! Check it out:

I knew I wanted something bright and cheery and I knew I wanted to use Endless Birthday Wishes (LOVE this photopolymer set!)

I stamped cake image onto my Whisper White Cardstock using Memento Black Ink (perfect for Blendabilities) and coloured it in using my Pumpkin Pie and Smoky Slate Blendabilities. It was matted on Tempting Turquoise.

Then I stamped some dots and added the banners and bakers twine bows.

I stamped the inside too:

Just perfect for a bright and cheery birthday card! It can be yours! I sell all the cards on my blog for $4 + shipping to you.

You can check out what the rest of the crew has been up to HERE.
