I REALLY don't like making sympathy cards, but sometimes they are necessary.
Last week, my mom's cousin's daughter passed away (we have quite an extensive extended family) and while we aren't in touch all that often, I still wanted to send a card.
Last week, my upline had a ten-card class and she designed this card as a friendship card. It's simple design lent itself readily to a sympathy card and it was just what I needed!
I stamped the image and sentiment in More Mustard on Very Vanilla Cardstock. After I stamped the sentiment, I sponged the cardstock with champagne shimmer paint, so that I would be sure to sponge around it. The main image panel is mounted on dimensionals.
I also created a sketch because I used the card/sketch while I was hosting the Chat and Challenge at SUDSOL today.
What do you think?
