Because if it WAS your birthday, you just might be, MAYBE the lucky person who is going to receive this card:
The boys' godmother's birthday is today and this is the card she'll be receiving. It's her husband's birthday too (how fun is that?), so I need to get a card made for him as well. I think I'll go with the same colour theme and then they'll match when displayed together. What do you think?
This is the card that I made for the Chat and Challenge I hosted on SUDSOL on Monday afternoon. I created the sketch in MDS:
I know a lot of people don't like a white card base (and some specifically advise against it in swaps), but I think it gives the card a nice crisp feel.
What do you think?

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteWhite bases are really great when you want colors to pop or are going for a really elegant look. Just depends on the card and its creator. In this case the white base is absolutely perfect!
i love it. love your take on the sketch, love the flowers! My opionion on white? Its gorgous when its done well! If you get a nice stiff card base, it does look beautifully crisp!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect! Love the bold flowers against the white base. Wonderful job cutting them all out too!
