Bet you didn't think that was really a holiday, did you? It must be, because I checked on several "wacky" holiday calendars and there it was! One of my online stamping friends, Jane, compiles an extensive list on her blog every month...so if you're looking for a reason to celebrate, you can find it there!
Today is National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day, so I made this:
My friend Melissa has been dealing with some not so fun stuff lately, so I stuffed it in an envelope and sent it off to her! In case my watermark is making it difficult to see the sentiment it says, "If life really is a bowl full of cherries, I hope yours are all chocolate covered."
I didn't use any stamps on this one. I briefly considered "Tart and Tangy", but A: I don't have it and B: The cherries are too small for what I wanted to do with the front of the card.
What do you think?
PAPERS: Confetti White, Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Bravo Burgundy Cardstock; Thoroughly Modern DSP; Vellum
ACCESSORIES: My printer
Happy Stampin'!
I hope I'm better prepared for this holiday next year, as I don't have any chocolate covered cherries in the house today!
ReplyDeleteCute card and the sentiment is perfect for sending to a troubled friend.
I'd settle for any kind of chocolate right now. *LOL*
