I know, I know...Baja Breeze is retired, but I LURVE it!!! I'm almost out of it though...so you won't have to put up with it much longer. Aren't you happy???
While I was playing with my Good Neighbours set over Christmas and doing my best to deplete my stock of LAST YEAR'S In Colours, I decided to pair a new stamp set with some older paper and I came up with this:
This one made me smile because I really liked the cute little sun I made in the top right corner. I made it by smooshing a sponge dauber in Summer Sun ink and then smooshing it onto the cardstock - CUTE!
The house is stamped in Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip and the tree was coloured using markers directly onto the rubber and then stamped on the Very Vanilla Cardstock. I hand drew the "hills".
What do you think?
STAMPS: Good Neighbours
INK: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip
PAPERS: Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip Cardstock; Manchester DSP
ACCESSORIES: Markers, Sponge Dauber
Happy Stampin'!
I think it's great. I'm still into the retired colors but am getting really low on the oldies but goodies like Morning Marigold.
ReplyDeleteGood job getting the sun to be a perfect circle. This will make a great card for so many uses, new home, welcome to the neighbourhood, thinking of you! Too bad you are near the end of the Baja Blue, it's such a nice soft colour!
