Love and Sympathy

As you know from previous posts, sympathy cards are not something anyone really likes to have to make. It's best to have them on hand for when you DO need one though, so this card will help you with that. I like the Love and Sympathy set because it makes it so easy to create the perfect card - simple and elegant.
I started off with a base of Very Vanilla and added a layer of Hello Honey cardstock which was further layered with Very Vanilla and a piece of Hello Honey Designer Series Paper from the Moonlight Paper Stack.

The image was stamped using the "direct to rubber" technique with markers, allowing me to stamp the image once but using two colours. This is a quick and easy way for you to get your images on the paper with not too much fuss. :)

The image was layered with some more DSP from the Moonlight stack and another piece of Hello Honey Cardstock.

The ribbon/bow/button were added as a finishing touch.

You can check out what the rest of the crew has been up to HERE.

What do you think?

  1. Christine such beautiful colours on what would be a sad card to receive! Love the balance of the delicate stamp and the texture and embellishments. Very inspiring!
