Happy Wednesday! Are you ready for this week's Stampin' Queens Sketch? We'd all LOVE for you to play along with us!
Here's our sketch for the week:
And here's my take on it:
I had my Pennant Parade as well as Riding Hood Red and Pear Pizzazz out on the table from the card I did on Monday, so I decided to just keep playing with that.
I started off with a Riding Hood Red base and added a layer of Whisper White on which I sponged some Riding Hood Red Ink because the white was just too stark for my liking. I added a piece of Riding Hood Red Designer Series Paper to that and then moved on to the Pear Pizzazz.
I used a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock which I punched using the Scallop Border Punch and added a piece of Pear Pizzazz DSP on top. I adhered the Pear Pizzazz goodness to the Riding Hood Red and then tied the ribbons around before adding it all to the card base with a WHOLE BUNCH of Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the focal image, I stamped the tree base on Whisper White and then punched it out using the 1 3/4" circle punch. I also used a sponge with Riding Hood Red Ink on this piece.
I stamped the tree in Pear Pizzazz and punched it out, then adhered it to the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I added the circle to a piece of Riding Hood Red Cardstock punched with the large (2 3/8") scalloped circle punch and then adhered it all to the card front using MORE Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede and punched it out using the Jewelry Tag Punch. After adding a piece of Baker's Twine, I attached it to the front of the card using a glue dot.
What do you think?
