Earlier this week, my MOJO seemed to have taken a leave of absence and this was the result - YIKES!
Definitely NOT up to my regular standards, but if you're a demonstrator this fits right in the demonstrable category. I do like the cards though.
I stamped the tree in Early Espresso and then stamped the leaves and flowers using Wild Wasabi, Garden Green and Marina Mist. The sentiment was stamped in Marina Mist on Whisper White and I outlined the sentiment using my Garden Green marker. It was matted on Garden Green Cardstock and adhered to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
What do you think?
STAMPS: Season of Friendship

PAPERS: Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
ACCESSORIES: Markers
Happy Stampin'!
i think these are lovely cards. i really like the simplicity. if you want to give them that little extra "something something" you can use an ink pad around the edges of the white pieces and mats, and even around the card itself. this will give it a little extra dimension. literally, just run the ink pad along the edges, you don't even need to touch it to the surface. that's the only thing i would add. other than that, they look lovely. (i LURV white space.)
ReplyDeleteGreat cards - can't go wrong with this set!
ReplyDeleteCan't see anything wrong with them myself!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with white space and simplicity.
I think there is some sort of thing going on nowadays to see how MUCH you can put on a card!
I have to agree with everyone else here - these are wonderful. Sometimes less is more and these are great!
